CEB – Cultivating Emotional Balance
The Cultivating Emotional Balance workshop is based on the Cultivating Emotional Balance program, which integrates knowledge from modern psychology about the manifestation of emotions and secular contemplative practices, such as Meditation. The program was conceived by Paul Ekman, renowned psychologist of the 20th century, Eve Ekman, expert in Burn-out, and finally physicist Alan Wallace, one of the great Western scholars on the subject of meditative practices and a monk for 14 years, ordained by the Dalai Lama himself.
People who have participated in the CEB show: less depression, anxiety and anger over a 5-week period more affection for others, significant improvement in the ability in subtle expressions, less emotional and physical reactivity to stress compared to before.
